1. Why is filter press needed in the production of fragrant vegetable oil?
In the production of fragrant vegetable oil, it is necessary to retain the unique fragrance, smell and taste of the oil to the greatest extent, so when choosing the production process, it is necessary to choose a method that will not cause loss of its fragrance and other indicators.
The hydration degumming process in the current oil refining process will use a large amount of water, salt and phosphoric acid to condense and separate the colloids in the oil, and the subsequent dehydration treatment will cause considerable loss of the smell and fragrance in the oil.

2. Why use filter press as the main colloid separation equipment for producing strong-flavored oil?

3. Working method of filter press
The usual filtering mechanism of the filter press mainly consists of filter plate, filter frame, filter cloth, or pressing diaphragm. The filter plate is covered with filter cloth on both sides. When a pressing diaphragm is required (often used in the dewaxing and fractionation process in oil production). The material enters each filter chamber from the material hole on the thrust plate (head plate). The solid particles are retained in the filter chamber because their particle size is larger than the pore size of the filter medium (filter cloth), and the filtrate flows out from the outlet hole below the filter plate. When the filter cake needs to be squeezed dry, in addition to using diaphragm pressing, compressed air can also be used to flush away excess grease in the filter cake using airflow to reduce the oil content of the filter cake.
At present, the filter press in oil production adopts open flow filtration. The main purpose of choosing this filter is to clearly see the working condition of the water nozzle under each filter plate during the filtration process. When the filtrate flows out of the water nozzle intuitively, the working condition of each fast filter plate of the entire filter can be judged.
4. Tips for using filter press
Precoating: Precoating means that in the process of filtering crude oil, in order to ensure good filtering effect, the crude oil needs to circulate as a whole, form a stable coating on the filter cloth, and ensure that the production of each plate achieves quality control consistency.
It should be said that the precoating operation is very important. It is necessary to continuously check the technical indicators achieved by the precoating operation during the filtering operation to determine the degree of completion of the entire process.
Pressure: In order to ensure the safe production of the filter press, and to ensure the stability of the filter cloth during the production process. The driving pressure of the suspension should be kept stable to prevent the pressure from fluctuating too much. At the same time, the pressure requirement should not exceed 0.3mpa.
Excessive pressure will cause the filter plate and filter frame to rupture, causing serious production accidents.
Excessive fluctuations in the driving pressure will cause a knocking effect on the filter coating, causing the coating to fall off.
