How efficient is the fully automatic filter press?

The filter press is a solid-liquid separation equipment widely used in various industries. However, the traditional filter press has a low degree of automation, a large waste of manpower and high maintenance costs. Therefore, in recent years, fully automatic filter presses have been developed on this basis, including fully automatic belt filter presses, fully automatic plate and frame filter presses, etc. So, how efficient is the fully automatic filter press?

First of all, the fully automatic filter press has a relatively high degree of automation. Unlike ordinary filter presses, which require manual unloading of mud cakes, continuous cleaning of filter cloth, filter plates, etc., it starts from compressing the filter plate, feeding the filter, pulling the plate, and vibrating to discharge the material. Fully automatic operation from transportation to filter cloth cleaning and regeneration. In the field of sludge dehydration, the fully automatic filter press can independently complete the entire process of sludge dehydration without manual operation. Therefore, the sludge treatment cycle can be accurately controlled and the sludge treatment efficiency can be increased by more than 70%.

For sludge disposal projects using fully automatic filter presses, only one person is required to monitor multiple pieces of equipment. Therefore, labor costs are greatly saved and sludge treatment costs are effectively reduced. Simplify the sludge treatment procedure and reduce the sludge with a moisture content of 96%-98% to less than 50% through chemically modified special press filtration. Modification starts from sludge with a moisture content of 98%, so the sewage treatment plant does not need belt machines, centrifuges and flocculants for pretreatment. In addition, the environment of the concentrated sludge transportation site using pumps and pipelines has been greatly improved, and the treatment cost is equal to that of the pretreatment stage.

The entire treatment process is operated in a cold state and does not require a heat source; the dewatered sludge will no longer be restored when exposed to water and is hydrophobic, and the water will continue to evaporate in a natural state. The moisture content can be reduced to 40%, and the mud cake will naturally break into granular shapes; the entire The system has a high degree of automation, parameter input, full automatic control operation, and assembly line production; the treatment cost is low, the amount of sludge conditioning reagent added is small, and energy consumption and labor costs are saved, thereby reducing the comprehensive sludge treatment cost of the automatic filter press by more than 70%. .

The use of fully automatic filter presses for concentrate dehydration has also achieved very good results. Due to the high concentration of ore, increased corrosiveness, and frequent opening and closing of the valve, issues such as the wear-resistant life of the valve, the service life of the filter cloth, and the sensitivity and reliability of the electrical control cabinet must be taken seriously. At present, fully automatic equipment cannot completely replace traditional concentrate dehydration equipment. Flocculants, filter aids, etc. are still indispensable in concentrate dehydration and still occupy an important position. An efficient fully automatic filter press must have a reasonable dehydration process in order to exert its technical advantages.
